Our portfolio collections start from $780. Most clients choose their images after seeing their photographs during their private viewing session, allowing them to select the collection that best suits their goals and budget. There is no obligation to purchase more than you want, and larger collections provide better value per image.
Not necessarily. Many clients achieve fantastic results without professional hair and makeup. For those wanting an extra polished look, professional hair and makeup can be added to your session. We'll recommend the option that best suits your goals.

Not at all. Couples book sessions for anniversaries, engagements, birthdays, milestones and simply because they want photographs that feel genuine. You do not need a specific occasion to create something worth keeping.
Most families get in touch during pregnancy so we can plan around their expected due date. You don't need to know the exact day your baby will arrive. We can reserve space around your due date and confirm the session once your baby is here. If your baby has already arrived, don't worry — contact us and we'll let you know what availability we have.
No. We guide the session from beginning to end, including where to stand, what to do with your hands and how to interact. You do not need any experience in front of a camera.
Our standard portfolio sessions are crafted for aspiring models, actors, and influencers who are serious about creating agency ready work. Your session runs for 120 minutes and includes up to 3 outfit changes, multiple backgrounds and lighting setups, and professional guidance with posing and direction throughout to ensure you look confident and natural in every frame. A professional makeup artist is available at an additional fee. Around one week after your shoot, you will return to the studio for a cinematic big screen viewing session where you will see your images for the first time and personally select your favourite photographs.
We offer flexible payment options, including credit card, bank transfer, and payment plans on selected collections. Many clients choose to spread their investment over time, making it easier to build the portfolio they want without compromise. If you'd like to discuss payment options, we're always happy to help.
Absolutely. Life happens, and we completely understand. Simply contact us at least 72 hours before your session and we will happily move your booking to a new date at no charge. We want you to feel completely relaxed and ready when you come in.
Not necessarily. The early newborn stage is ideal for the sleepy, curled-up style of newborn portraiture, but every baby is different. If your baby has already arrived, send us an enquiry with their age and we'll let you know what we can create and what session options are available.
That's completely normal. Newborn sessions are intentionally unhurried, with time for feeding, cuddles, changing and settling whenever your baby needs it. We work around your baby's rhythm rather than expecting them to follow a strict shooting schedule.
Once your session is booked we can guide you through clothing and colour choices. The aim is to coordinate the family without making everybody look artificially matched.
Most couples do at the start. The photographer guides you throughout the session with direction, movement and interaction so that you stop thinking about the camera. You do not need modelling experience or any particular skill — that is what the photographer is there for.
Absolutely. Family sessions are designed to work around different ages and personalities. We do not expect young children to behave like adults or sit perfectly still for the entire session.
The classic sleepy newborn style is usually photographed during the first few weeks after birth, while babies are still very small and naturally curl into newborn positions. If your baby is a little older, please still get in touch. We can discuss the style of photographs that will work best for their age.
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks ahead to secure your preferred date. Popular times — including weekends, warmer months and the lead-up to special occasions — book out further in advance.
Most sessions run between 60 and 90 minutes. The exact duration depends on your chosen package, the number of outfits you bring and the pace of the session. We build in time so nothing feels rushed.
Newborn sessions are deliberately flexible rather than rushed. We allow time for feeding, settling, cuddles and breaks, so the exact length can vary depending on your baby and the session you choose. When you book, we'll explain what to expect for your particular session.
Yes. Multi generational and extended family sessions can be accommodated. Let us know who you would like included when planning your session so we can structure the shoot properly.
Yes. The photographer provides direction throughout, using prompts based on interaction and movement rather than static positions. The goal is photographs that feel natural and genuine rather than staged.
Yes. We can photograph the full family as well as smaller combinations such as siblings, parents with children, couples and individual portraits where appropriate.
Not at all. We'll guide you throughout the session, including where to stand, how to hold your baby and what works best in front of the camera. Your job is simply to stay close to your baby and enjoy the experience.
Your baby's comfort always comes first. Sessions are baby-led and unhurried, parents remain close, and we pause whenever your baby needs feeding, changing, cuddling or settling. We never need to force a photograph if your baby isn't comfortable.
Yes. Most packages allow for outfit changes. We recommend two to three coordinated looks for the best variety. We will talk through your options before the session so you feel prepared on the day.
Session length depends on the size of the family and the collection being created. We will confirm the expected timing when your session is planned.
Pets and meaningful personal touches can be incorporated into sessions. Please mention it when you book so we can plan the session accordingly. Not all pets suit a studio environment — we will advise based on your situation.

Once you're booked, we'll give you guidance on how to prepare. Bring the normal things your baby needs for feeding, changing and settling, plus any meaningful personal item you'd especially like us to consider photographing. You don't need to arrive with everything figured out — we'll guide you beforehand.
Choose outfits that feel like you at your best. Avoid clothing with large logos, heavy patterns or very bright colours unless they are intentional. Textures, layers and neutral or muted tones tend to photograph well together. We will send you a preparation guide after you book.
Family portrait sessions are photographed at our Sydney studio. Your booking confirmation will include the studio details and arrival information.
After your session you will return for a private viewing, where you can see the photographs properly and choose the images and products you would like to keep.

About a week after your session, you'll return to the studio for your viewing. This is when you'll see the finished photographs for the first time and we'll take you through the available image and collection options. You can then choose the photographs you love most.

You'll first see your finished images at your viewing, usually around a week after the photography session. Once you've chosen your photographs or collection, we'll confirm the finishing and delivery timeframe for what you've selected.
You will be invited to a private viewing session approximately two weeks after your shoot. At the viewing, you will see your fully edited photographs and choose your final selection.

At your private viewing, we present all of your edited photographs from the session. You then select the images included in your package. Your photographer can help you choose if you find it difficult.
Our Couples packages start from $1,295 for the Connection Collection (10 images) up to $2,795 for the Editorial Collection (35 images). A deposit is required to secure your booking. You can view full package details on our pricing page.
At your viewing, we'll take you through the digital collection options available for your session — including how many images are included and what's covered at each level.
